Cookies notice — Nexus Cove

A note on this document

This is a plain-English first version, marked v1.0, written to be honest about how Nexus Cove operates today. It is to be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before significant commercial use. If anything here conflicts with a signed agreement we have with you, the signed agreement takes precedence.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember things between visits (preferences, basic counters, security tokens). Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and small first- party scripts that record anonymised usage signals. We refer to all of these as “cookies” in this notice for simplicity.

What we use today

The site uses a small, deliberate set of first-party cookies. The table below describes each one in plain English.

Site analytics (first-party)	Counts page views and approximate visit origin so we know which content is useful. The analytics provider is contracted not to use the data for cross-site profiling, and IP addresses are truncated.	Up to 12 months
Preference	Remembers minor UI preferences such as whether you have dismissed a banner.	Up to 12 months

What we do not use

We do not use third-party advertising cookies, behavioural retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking scripts. We do not embed video players, social buttons, or chat widgets that would set their own tracking cookies on your visit.

Your choices

You can clear cookies from this site at any time from your browser settings, or block them entirely. If you block strictly-necessary cookies, the site may not function as intended (for example the contact form may fail). Most browsers also offer a “Do Not Track” signal; we do not currently set additional tracking cookies that would be affected by it, but we treat it as a general signal of intent and will honour any future expansions of the standard.

Changes to this notice

If we add or remove cookies we will update this page and increment the version number shown at the top.
